Cybersecurity Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network and Cybersecurity Support Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting antivirus/EDR solutions, firewalls, email security, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, solution design, and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs). You will also collaborate closely with the inside sales team and ensure smooth communication between the customer and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Antivirus/EDR Management:

  • Deploy, configure, and support Symantec, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, TrendMicro endpoint protection solutions.
  • Perform threat analysis, and handle incident response for antivirus/EDR systems.

Firewall Configuration and Support:

  • Install, configure, and manage firewalls such as Fortinet, CheckPoint, and Sophos.
  • Troubleshoot firewall policies, VPNs, and network security incidents.
  • Work with customers to design and implement firewall solutions.

Email Security Management:

Administer and support Barracuda email security systems, ensuring email traffic is secure and free of phishing or malware threats.

Networking:

  • Support, configure, and troubleshoot HPE Aruba and Cisco network infrastructure (switches, access points).
  • Design and implement network solutions as per customer requirements.

Monitoring & Management:

  • Monitor and manage customer networks using tools such as SolarWinds and ManageEngine.
  • Respond to and resolve network and system alerts, ensuring optimal system performance.

Customer Engagement:

  • Attend customer calls, meetings, and site visits to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare detailed BOQs based on customer needs and pass them on to the inside sales team.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer issues, configurations, and solutions provided.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, diagrams, and solution designs.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Fortinet NSE/FCF
  • Check Point CPSE
  • Palo Alto PSE

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, IT, etc.).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and principles.

Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience
